Obituary of Frank Joseph Schilte

Frank Joseph Schilte, 71 of Lutz, passed away July 27, 2019. He  was born in the Netherlands and moved to Florida in 1996 from Grimsby, Ontario. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 49 years (on September 7th) Carolyn, 1 son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Julie Schilte, 2 daughters, Denise Schilte-Brown and Christopher Brown and Jeanne Berry. Also surviving is his sister and brother-in-law, Trix and Tom Boyd and his precious grandchildren whom he always bragged about, Kaia, Tate, Ethan, Kenza, Lexia and Lana. Frank was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church and also a coach for the Special Olympics. Frank devoted his time to coaching soccor, basketball, swimming and bowling to Special Olympians; he was also a hockey coach, enjoyed collecting hockey memorabilia, golf and roller blading. Frank and Carolyn were also foster parents, sharing their love and faith with others. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, August 2 at 11 o'clock am at St. Timothy Catholic Church. The family has entrusted care and services to Loyless Funeral Home.
