Obituary of Alice F. Heyliger

Wife, mother, grandmother Alice Faye Heyliger, 71, went to be with her Lord on March 16th, 2019. Born in Cross City, Florida to her parents Clark and Sally Johns, she later moved to Lutz, Florida in 1991 from Tampa. Alice enjoyed movie nights with homemade pizza, rocking in her rocking chair, family vacations at the beach, studying her bible, singing hymns, and shopping for others. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She had the most generous heart and was always doing for others. Alice is predeceased by her parents, Clark William and Sally Lorene Johns; and her sister, Margaret Dorminy. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Charles Keith Heyliger; son, Charles Brian Heyliger and his wife, Rebecca; daughter, Hillary Millicent and her husband, Nick Shorts; her sisters, Lucy Bontempt, Shirley Barnes, and Nancy Johns; brothers, Jim Johns, Jeff Johns, and Sam Johns, and eight grandchildren, Katelyn, Caleb, Nora, Audrey, Jacob, Grant, Leni, and Zeke. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, March 22, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Land O' Lakes. The family will receive friends one hour prior and they insist that all attendees feel free to dress comfortably and wear her favorite color, purple. Following the service there will be a private family interment..
