Obituary of Carl Abel Sr.

Carl Abel Sr., 72, of Holiday, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019. He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia. Carl proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam and Desert Storm. When he retired, he was ranking as a Sergeant First Class. He was Christian by faith.

Carl is preceded in death by his brother, Larry. He is survived by his sons, Leonard and Carl Jr; his daughter, Melisa Abel-Pamplona; his brother, Michael Abel; sister Patty  Guarino; 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Brendan, Leah, Daylin, Sidney, and Kaycy.

A Funeral Service will take place at 9:30am on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Loyless Funeral Homes.  Full military honors will be rendered at 11:30am on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends during visitation from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Loyless Funeral Home.
