Obituary of Alberto Cruz Ramos

Ramos, Alberto “Ray”, 48 of Tampa, Florida passed away on February 12, 2019.  Ray was born in Paterson, NJ to parents Alberto and Gregoria Ramos.  He joined the United States Navy after graduating from high school. After proudly served his country, Ray received his Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa.  He later married the love of his life Vivian Rivera and together they raised their three wonderful children.  Ray loved to laugh and liked making others laugh.  He enjoyed listening to music, dancing and having fun.  He also had a strong love for learning, always striving for more.  Ray enjoyed helping others and was known as a great nurse because he enjoyed what he did, helping others.  His patients and the staff at the hospital would always rave about Ray for the love, care, and teamwork he showed to all.  Ray was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many.  He will be greatly missed and his family and friends are thankful for the memories they have to hold on to. 

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Vivian of 19 years; sons, Yuki, Isreal and Gabriel; daughter, Natasha; parents, Alberto and Gregoria; brother, Tony; sisters, Sonalee, Priscilla, Yesenia, Frances, Maggie and Letty Mari; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Service will take place at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Loyless Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends one hour prior.  Military Honors will take place at 12:30pm following the service at Florida National Cemetery.
