Obituary of Elizabeth Marie Smith

Smith, Elizabeth Marie, 69, of Lutz, Florida passed away on January 24, 2019. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Tampa in 1977 on the auto train. She loved the beach, shopping, watching over the neighborhood, hosting cookouts, and family vacations. Elizabeth was a very hands on woman; she was always involved, loving and caring. She loved her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were everything to her. Elizabeth worked as an accountant and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She is preceded in death by her son, Sean Patrick Smith, daughter Linda Knight and granddaughter Julia Pickel. She is survived by her husband George of almost 40 years; one son, Scott Francis Smith and his wife Annette, one daughter Cynthia Hurley and her husband Jon Pickel, brother Larry Oliver; sister Mary Anne Kilgore; five grandchildren, Robert, Kelly Anne, Samuel, Nicole, Natalie; and great-grands Gabe, Collin, and a little one on the way. A Celebration of Life will be held at Loyless Funeral Homes on Friday, February 1 at 10:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Words of comfort may be expressed at Loylessfuneralhomes.com.
