Obituary of Diana Maria Knoblauch

Knoblauch, Diana Maria, 60, of Land O’Lakes, Florida passed away January 17, 2019. She was born November 11, 1958 in Berlin, Germany. As a member of a military family, Diana lived in many locations, including Germany and Hawaii before settling in Land O’ Lakes with her family. Diana worked for Citigroup for 32 years. She began her career in a temporary position and worked her way up through the company to become Vice-President, Senior Solving Analyst. She was a consummate professional, problem solver and always loved aiding her co-workers who were her second family. Outside of work, she was a wonderful wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother who enjoyed cooking and entertaining others. Diana was an avid sports fan and her favorite teams were the Florida Gators, Tampa Bay Bucs, and Lightning. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helga Gross; and sister, Debbra Shaffer. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James Knoblauch II; one son, James Knoblauch III; two daughters, Jessica Knoblauch and Melissa (William) Cammarn; two brothers, Kenny Gross and Bruce (Tori) Gross; one sister, Tarra (Brian) Kunz; and one grandchild. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on February 2, 2019 at Loyless Funeral Home.
