Obituary of Earl Arthur James

JAMES, Earl Arthur, 55, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Lutz as the result of an automobile/bicycle accident. He was born on April 2, 1952, in Orange, TX. He was a high school graduate of Stark High School in TX, and a college graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, TX where he majored in music. He attended the First United Methodist Church of Land O’ Lakes, where he played the trumpet & key board in the Praise Band, he was also in the choir. He traveled the U S & Canada with The Royal Brown Band (James Brown’s brother) & another band for several years. He liked to swim, was a competitive high diver in college & enjoyed fishing. His passion was music, he enjoyed making CD’s & sound tracks. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed James. He is survived by his mother, Ruth, of Land O’ Lakes; brothers, Eddie James & wife Rosetta of Richland, WA, Robert James & wife Connie of Orange, TX; sister, Susan Hart & husband Don of Pasadena, TX; grandmother, Florence Utter of Medford, NJ; 2 aunts, 1 uncle, 6 nephews, 1 niece, and several other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at The First United Methodist Church of Land O’ Lakes, FL on April 1st at 2:00PM.
