Obituary of Ernest Edward Peterson

PETERSON, Ernest Edward, 84 of Land O’Lakes, FL passed away on Monday, January 28, 2008 at Hernando/Pasco Hospice. He was born in Stamford, CT and moved to Land O’ Lakes from CT in 1979. He worked for many years in Stamford, CT at St. John’s Towers and had been adopted into the Mohawk Tribe where he spent many years sharing with the public on lifestyles and history of the American Indians. He was preceded in death by his first wife Eva in 1969. He is survived by his wife, Shirley of 38 years; daughter Elaine and husband John Haviland of Land O’ Lakes; step daughters, Susan and husband Phil Rinella, Sharon and husband Joseph Caterbone, Sandra and husband Paul Garey and Cathy and husband William Duggan; brother, Rev. Harry Peatt, Jr.; nine grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be planned at a later date.
