Obituary of Donald F. Nevins

Nevins, Donald F., 81, passed away July 24, 2006. He was born in Minneapolis, MN, moving to Tampa from Park Ridge, IL, in 1986. He served in the Navy during WWII on the U.S.S. LaVallette. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and was a retired manager with General Motors. He was past president of Pebble Creek Homeowners Association and active with The Greater Tampa Community Emergency Response Team and The New North Transportation Alliance. Donald was the loving husband of Gloria for 58 years; the loving father to sons, James of Kitchener, Ontario; Michael of Dallas, TX; and Patrick of River Forest, IL; and daughters, Laura Brennan and Carolyn Beckett, both of Lake Bluff, IL; the loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 29th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church.
