Obituary of Robert J. Young

YOUNG, Robert J. “Bob”, 77, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007, at his home. He was born in Gaines, NY and moved to Florida from Iowa in 1981. He served in the U S Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He was a member of Harvester United Methodist Church of Land O’ Lakes; AMVETS and a lifetime member of DAV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertram & Nellie Young, brother David Young & grandson, Logan Young. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothye of Land O’ Lakes; son, Robert Jr. & wife Susan of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Brenda Rosenkrantz of Charlotte, NC; brother, Earl & wife Marie Young of Medina, NY; sister, Carol Schultz of Medina, NY; sister-in-law, Cathy & husband Jim Foster of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Hunter, Tanner, Conner Young & Nelson Hunter all of NC; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Harvester UMC on Saturday, April 14th at 10:00AM. Inurnment will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
