Obituary of Edward John Hukle

HUKLE, Edward J., 83, of Lutz, passed away Monday, January 8, 2007. He was born in Bronx, NY. He proudly served in the U S Marine Corp in the South Pacific during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He also later served in Korea. After retiring as a Captain, he served as a Disaster Specialist for the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Hukle. He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Mary Jo (Tann) Hukle; son, Edward Hukle, Jr. & wife Linda; daughters, Carole Young & husband Ron, Jodee Hunt & husband Sam; sisters, Sister Joseph Eilese Hukle, O.P. and Margaret Mary H. King; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves a large extended family, including a sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family will receive friends at Loyless Funeral Home on Wednesday Evening from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
