Obituary of Reginald Howard Livingston

LIVINGSTON, Reginald H., 75, of Wesley Chapel, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2006 at his home under the care of Hospice. He was born in Presque Isle, ME and moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1948. He graduated from St. Pete High in 1949 and enlisted in the U S Air Force where he became a proud member of the “Ramp Rats” while stationed at Ramey AFB in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. He retired from MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. He subsequently had successful careers in the Real Estate and Insurance industries. He was an avid golfer at Quail Hollow Country Club and participated in the SPHS class of “49ers” reunions. During his retirement he started his own company with one employee, called “G, F & G” (golf, fishing and gardening). He has enjoyed being part of the original “Ramp Rats” as they gathered around the United States for reunions. He is survived by a loving family; wife, Mickey Livingston of Wesley Chapel; daughters, Melanie Livingston Barcley of St. Petersburg, Kelly McElveen of Tampa, Marilynn Tuten of St. Petersburg; son, Michael McElveen & wife Janise of Tampa; grandchildren, David & Michael Barcley of St. Petersburg, Andrea & Christopher McElveen of Tampa, Matthew & Nathan Tuten of St. Petersburg, and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:00AM. Interment with full Military Honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
