Obituary of Francis Griesser

Francis Joseph Griesser, Jr. “Fran”, 66 of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away January 17, 2019. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. where he attended and graduated from Holy Cross Elementary, Cardinal O’Hara High School, and LaSalle University. Fran and his family moved to Tampa, FL in 1992. Fran worked for Patterson Dental in their Sales Dept. and previously BENCO for over 15 years. Fran was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Fran loved spending time with family and friends. With a vibrant personality he always made everyone laugh. He was a man that loved to have fun and was an avid sports fan. Fran always reflected fondly on the shore where he met his wife Connie. He enjoyed playing golf, the beach, cooking, crossword puzzles, bike rides, and reading, especially his lifetime subscription to National Geographic Magazine. More than anything, Fran loved being a Dad and Pop to his five children and his six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents: Eleanor & Francis Griesser, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie; sons: Jason Griesser and his wife Susan, Francis Joseph Griesser III “Joe” and girlfriend Stephanie; daughters: Ann Griesser and her boyfriend Stephen Cox, Mary Catherine Griesser and her boyfriend Sebastian Ballester, Ellen Griesser Lagowski and her husband John; brothers: Gerard Griesser and his wife Mary, Joseph Griesser and his wife Beth Ann; six grandchildren: Annabella, Edward, Stephen, William, Jordan and Beau. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00am atSt. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, January 25, 2019. Family will receive friends one hour prior.
