Obituary of Deloris Jones Norris

NORRIS, Deloris Jones, 86, of Land O’Lakes, Florida passed away January 18, 2019. She was born in Antioch, Florida, graduated from Hillsborough High School, and attended college at Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. She worked and eventually retired as a secretary and she was an active member of Sunlake Baptist Church. Deloris greatly enjoyed being involved in any activities she could with the church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Raymond L. Norris. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Dupree (Curtis) of Navarre, Florida; her grandson, Bryan Hamlin; and her brother, Alfred W. Jones of Tampa, Florida. A service will take place at 1:30 pm on January 21, 2019 at Sunlake Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors at noon prior to service where food and beverage will be offered to attendees. Interment is to follow at 3:30 pm at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
