KILLETTE, Vivian G., 95, of Land O’Lakes, Florida passed away January 13, 2019. She was born on December 17, 1923 to Frank and Bertha (Brady) Bernhard. She was born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and grew up in Fulton County, Pennsylvania. Vivian later moved to Florida in 1952. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tampa. Vivian was a singer earlier in her life and sang with her father at the local county fair. She played the guitar. Vivian was a great cook and could make anything you asked her for. Her house was always clean and she enjoyed taking care of her two children and five grandchildren throughout her whole life.
Vivian is preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert A. Killette; a son, Rob Killette; three sisters, Alma Dyer Carpenter, Laura Stahley and Virginia Mellott; a brother Melvin Bernhard; and a great-grandson Kevin Bryant, Jr. Two days after Vivian’s passing, her grandson, Scott Bartolotti also passed.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Leary (Patrick); daughter in law, Leslie Killette; and a sister Mary Hanks; Grandchildren, Heidi Heath, Jody (Jennifer) Downs, Heather Eres, Kimberly Bartolotti, Tyler Killette, Robby Killette, Sean Leary (Channa), Colleen Gunn, and Jeffery (Vicki) Leary; 18 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Gulfside Hospice in Vivian’s name.
