Obituary of Monserrate Zamol-Matos

ZAMOL-MATOS, “Rose” Monserrate, 77, of Land O’Lakes, Florida, passed away November, 27, 2018. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and moved to New York in 1956 and then to Florida in 1987. Rose was Catholic in faith. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles on her Ipad and going to the Casino where the slot machines were her favorite. She was an excellent cook. Rose enjoyed her cat Bachy and her Quaker Bird named Target. She loved to sing to her great grandson. Rose is preceded in death by two sisters, Zaida Nin and Yolanda Zamol. She is survived by her daughter Lydia Alemany; two brothers William Samol and Hector Leon; and sister Ana Maria Santana; two grandchildren, Nelson Alemany and Ines Alemany; and one great grandchild Francis Ortiz.
