Obituary of Woosang Williams

WILLIAMS, Woosang, 83, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away November 18, 2018. She was born in Kyungpuk, Korea and moved to the United States in June 1971. Woosang settled in Land O’ Lakes from Staten Island, New York in 1974, after a few moves while her husband Elmond was in the Army. She was a proud homemaker. She often went to church with her family at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lutz, Florida. Woosang enjoyed cooking, going camping, and gardening. She loved Home Depot and was known as the “fixer” in the family. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Woosang is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Elmond Williams. She is survived by her son, Daniel Williams and his wife, LaDean; daughters, Yong Chmiel and her husband, Larry, Melody McCallister and her husband, Randy, and Joyce Noppenberger and her husband, Walter; grandchildren, Michael Chmiel, Crystal Chmiel, Anna Jarusan, Charisse Adams, and Christopher Piper-Wang; great grandchildren, Tabitha Blount, Phoebe Chmiel, Alan Chmiel, Mason Chmiel, and Johnathon Oliva; and her great great grandchild, Aniyah Blount. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 24, 2018. A private visitation for family will be held one hour prior. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery.
