Our Laker families go way back and I was so saddened to hear this news. I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. and Mrs. Law around town recently and always good memories came to mind. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mr. law was a blessing to Land O’ Lakes and will be greatly missed. Sandy Conner Graves.

Curtis was a gentle man and a gentleman. I'd known his wife Maxine since high school and years later when she introduced me and my husband to him it was the beginning of many years of shared memories. Curtis welcomed us into their home, played golf with my husband and told us lots of stories about his years in Land O' Lakes. Other than his grandchildren the thing he liked most to talk about was his land. He worked his land as his father before him had and loved his orange trees and riding his tractor on his property. Curtis and Maxine had just celebrated 58 years of marriage, living in the same home he built for his bride. When one leaves his earthly home for his heavenly home, his birth and death dates are given with a dash between. The measure of a persons' life is what they accomplished in the dash. Curtis accomplished a great deal. He was a humble man, never given to boasting, but proud of his family and unabashedly adored Maxine. Curtis was a good man and the dash between his dates testifies to a life well lived. Enter into the joy of the Lord my friend, well done good and faithful servant.
