Nilo Gregorio Alvarado, age 70, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on October 25, 2021. He was born in Ecuador and moved to the United States of America as a teenager. After proudly serving in the United States Navy, he settled in New York where he married, worked, and raised his family. After retirement, he moved with his wife to Florida to be closer to family. Nilo enjoyed eating his wife’s home cooked meals, playing tennis, watching the New York Yankees, and was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Most importantly, he loved being with his family and spoiling his grandson. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Grace Alvarado; son, Nilo F. Alvarado; daughter, Cynthia G. Alvarado; brother, Roman Alvarado; sister, Isabel Salvatierra; one grandchild, Gabriel; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
