Jaime Perez was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico. On August 05,1963, and passed away peacefully February 17, 2021. He was the first born son of Mr. Eugenia Salvador Perez and Mrs. Zoriada Velez Perez. Jaime and his family moved to New York in 1965 where they established themselves in the Bronx. Jaime took interest in boxing at a young age of 13 years old in which he trained and fought many amateur fights. Jaime graduated from Aldi E. Stevenson High School in June of 1982, and shortly after graduation he joined the United States Navy in which he proudly and faithfully served his country for 20 years.
Jamie was passionate about spending time with his family and loved ones, specially his wife he loved taking weekend trips with her and spend a lot of quality time with his wife. He loved to make everyone laugh and feel loved at all times. He was extremely loving and proud of his three children Whitney Bennett, Hillary Brock, and Edwin Rodriguez. He is also survived by his wife and best friend Jahaira Perez, his grandchildren Michael, Nasir, Londyn, and Khayri. His siblings Ivvette Perez, Walter Perez.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00AM-11:30AM Monday, February 22, 2021 at Loyless Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30pm right after the memorial service at Florida National Cemetery in Tampa, Florida.
